Telerik test studio is a commercial testing tool from Progress Software Corporation. It’s a paid software but a trail version for one month is available for free download. You can download it from the following URL:http://www.telerik.com/teststudio . In this tutorial we will go through the steps of Setting up Telerik Test Studio & Creating a new Test Project
Steps to Install Telerik Test Studio

2. Click on Next button.
3. Check the checkbox “Yes, I accept License Agreement” and click “NEXT” button
4. Enter all the details and click on the Next button to complete registration and start the installation.
5. Once the installation is complete following screen will appear, click “RUN” button to start Test Studio
Launch the test studio. When you launch Test Studio for the first time following dialogue box will appear. By default, recent projects are selected. Once a new project has been created, it will appear in the Recent Projects section, from where it can be directly selected. We will have a look into it in our next tutorial.
Creating a new Test Project
Select the “Create Project” option to create a new project in Test Studio. Once Create Project is selected it will present you with three project types; Web & Desktop, Mobile, and API project. Depending upon your application, select an option. For this tutorial, we will use a web application for testing so, select Web & Desktop.
Next, we will provide a name to the project. Let’s call it “TestProject” for now. We can always change this in later stages. You can give any name to the project, most testers although name it after the application they are going to test but again it’s all up to your choice.
Provide a location path (where you want your project to be saved) and click on the create button.
The new test project will be created and you will be taken to the Telerik Application.
